Is Buying FUT Coins Safe?

Short version: buying FC 27 coins always carries some risk, and the way they reach your club decides most of it. Here's what EA says, what gets flagged and how to buy as safely as the game allows.

EA's User Agreement doesn't allow buying coins, so no seller can promise EA will never act on your account, and we won't either. What you can influence is how the coins arrive. FC coins that come in through ordinary transfer market trades, spread out on a large order, leave a very different trail from one cheap card bought for an absurd amount.

That's how every order here works: Comfort Trade, batches for big amounts, and never a request for your console password.

How we keep the risk down

Ordinary market trades

FC coins enter your club through regular buying and selling in the Web App, never through one oversized sale.

Big orders in stages

Large amounts move bit by bit, so your balance climbs over a stretch instead of in one jump.

Console login stays private

We only work with your EA account. Your console network and Steam logins are never requested.

What EA's rules say

In plain terms, EA wants coins earned by playing and trading. Buying FIFA coins for cash from an outside seller breaks its User Agreement, and EA's help article on coins and FC Points explains how it treats coins gained that way. Penalties range from removing coins or items to restricting the transfer market or a ban.

Our method does mean sharing your EA login with an agent, and we'd rather you hear that from us than from small print.

What actually gets flagged

EA doesn't publish its detection rules, but the patterns players keep running into all look unlike normal play:

  • One trade far above a card's value, the classic sign of value pushed from one club to another.
  • A jump that doesn't fit the club, like a barely played account suddenly holding millions.
  • Chains between accounts: coins passing through several clubs, or always coming from the same few.
  • Reselling FC 27 coins, or listing dozens of cards at inflated amounts, which looks like a business rather than a player.
  • A frenzy of quick listings right after a big purchase.

EA can also review trades later, so a ban doesn't always come the same day.

Methods ranked by risk

Comfort Trade: the low-profile option

An agent makes ordinary transfer market trades in the Web App at sensible values, with big orders split up. The trade-off is the shared login, which a password change closes.

Player Auction: a louder footprint

You list a card and the seller's account buys it for far more than it's worth: one oversized sale between unrelated clubs, the very pattern described above. Checkout doesn't offer it right now.

Millions in one go: the riskiest

Dropping a huge sum into a club at once creates the kind of jump EA notices. Batches are slower, and that's the point.

What we do on every order

  • One method, run in EA's Web App with routine trades.
  • Large orders in batches, never a single transfer.
  • Only your EA login and a code; console and Steam logins stay with you.
  • The agent signs out the moment the order is done.
  • Payment on our partner's secure storefront, plus a 72-hour window and 24/7 chat if anything goes wrong.

None of this makes buying FC coins risk-free. It keeps your club's activity close to a busy trader's, which is the most any seller can honestly offer.

PlayStation, Xbox, PC: is there a difference?

EA's rules are the same everywhere, and so is our method, since the agent works in the Web App in a browser. What differs is the club: PS5 and PS4 share one, Series X|S and One share another, and the computer version has its own club and market. FC 27 coins bought for one club can't move to another, so pick the tab for where you play.

Buying FIFA coins isn't a crime. It breaks EA's User Agreement, a contract between you and EA rather than a law, so what's at stake is your account, not a legal case. Under those terms coins have no cash value, and any action over them is EA's to take. So before you buy, ask how the coins will arrive.

After the coins arrive

  • Wait for the order to be marked complete before opening Ultimate Team anywhere.
  • Set a new EA password and create a new set of backup codes in your EA account.
  • Spread your FC coins over several days: signings, an SBC or two, squad upgrades.
  • Keep the FIFA coins in your own club; don't route them to a friend through inflated trades.
  • Never let two coin orders from different sellers run into the same club.
  • If anything looks wrong, message live chat within 72 hours of your order.

How the 72-hour guarantee works

Safety and bans: your questions

Straight answers to what US players ask before they buy.

Will buying FC coins get me banned?

Not automatically, but a ban is one of the penalties EA can apply, so the risk is real. It rises with loud patterns, like one card bought at a wild markup or millions landing at once, and falls with ordinary trades spread over batches. A new password and a normal spending pace afterward help too.

Is it legal to buy FC 27 coins in the US?

It's not against the law. It is against EA's terms, which you accepted when you created your EA account, so EA's options all concern the account: wiping coins, limiting the market or closing access. That's why the way coins reach your club matters so much.

How does buying FIFA coins work here?

You choose the platform and amount, pay on our partner's secure checkout, then add your EA login and backup codes or a one-time code on the order page. An agent brings the coins in by Comfort Trade, usually in 10–45 minutes. Our step-by-step buying guide covers each stage.

Which method has the lower ban risk?

In our view, the one where an agent trades in the Web App at normal values. Player Auction relies on one card selling far above its worth, which is the pattern EA tends to notice, and checkout doesn't offer it right now anyway. The guide to both methods compares them in detail.

Is it safe to share my EA login for delivery?

It's the one trade-off of this method, so we keep it tight. The agent uses your login only in the Web App, never needs your console network or Steam password and signs out when the order is done. Change your EA password and refresh your backup codes right after, and the access is gone.
